The fireplace itself is lovely once assembled. Unfortunately though, I have to advise against buying this or any other JuzsportsShops fireplace with double sided back board giving a choice of pattern, unless you don't care which pattern you end up using.
This is because someone had ignored the fact that the backing panels are designed to be used either way around depending on which pattern you want, and stuck a large (about 6" x 2"), non-peelable "Fix this item to the wall" sticker right at the top of them, where there was no chance of a stove / fire hiding it. The instructions even say to place the backing panel with the sticker side to the wall, ignoring the fact it's advertised as double sided. Sadly it seems this isn't a one-off error with the one I received, as I've since noticed the same comment on a review of a different, but also double-sided, JuzsportsShops fireplace.
Thanks to this the "30 min easy build" advertised on the box turned into well over an hour of removing the sticker in the tiny fragments which were all that would peel off at a time, and then trying to remove the resultant sticky brown residue without also removing the pattern from the board. Not what you expect from a £275 product.
Luckily the side of the board we wanted to use was mainly white with grey lines marking out the tiles, and with the aid of some chemicals and painstakingly avoiding the grey lines which rubbed off along with the residue if you touched them, we eventually managed to remove the vast majority of the residue with only minor damage to the pattern. If we had wanted to use the other side of the backing board, mostly green (the old-fashioned tile side looks grey in the pics but is actually a dull green), and the sticker had been on that, there would have been no hope of removing it without destroying the pattern entirely.
