Grandson is a small 2 and a half year old, but this fits him perfectly. We love the red and it's really cosycand warm. We haven't tested the shower resistance yet, but I'm sure it will be fine!

Excellent coat, really good quality. The hat is nice and big not to fly off the head in the wind. Big front pockets. Secure zip and buttons. My son is 4.5years old and i bought 6-7 years size. So I would recommend next size up to actual age. Has a elastic fitting on the wrists. Warm lining inside. My son loves it!
